About Capital International

Capital International's parent organisation, The Capital Group, began in 1931 as a small research office in the United States. Today, it has grown to be one of the largest global investment management organisations in the world.

The Capital Group has two principal subsidiaries: Capital Group International, Inc., which provides investment solutions to non-US-based investors and to US-based institutions, and Capital Research and Management Company, which serves as the investment advisor to the American Funds, one of the largest fund families in the United States.
